Be Solid: How To
Life is challenging. Discover how to use challenges to transform into your best self!
Solidify & Strengthen Your Life
When you experience loss, especially if it's the end of a relationship, it feels like you've been sucker-punched by a giant. Knocked down, the world spins out of control and nothing makes sense anymore. Heart break cripples people for years, decades, sometimes even for the rest of their lives.

Has that been your story?

It doesn't have to be that way. You can experience the hell of heartbreak and become something more. You can become whole. I know you can because I did.

I'm a regular dude who has experienced both personal loss and living with fears and insecurities for years and years. I used to be fearful, insecure and pretty codependent. I was unaware of some of this stuff. But when my worst fear of rejection & abandonment came true, I was met with a very startling reality.

I had to decide if I was going to let it break me or if I'd dig deep to overcome the issues within myself. Instead of blaming those who hurt me, or turning on myself, I utilized a core principle gained from an unlikely source from my past: my brief stint in amateur boxing.

This book is the culmination of this healing journey. It's a guide for how to heal, rebuild yourself and birth a new life without pain, fear or regret.

This book includes the lessons learned along the way and the tools I've gained to restore my heart and mind to new levels. This is my transformation story and method that you can use to become your best self after experiencing your worst pain.
Hi, I'm D Grant Smith
I've got a name you won't forget: D Grant Smith. You can call me D (that's what my friends do!).

I've got a storied life of overcoming challenges and obstacles. Professionally I'm a former syndicated radio host, love and relationship mentor, personal development coach, speaker, and author. Which looks like a lot of big wins and success on the outside. But on the inside, I was scared and full of fear. That fear ruled a lot of how I thought about myself, which caused problems in relationships and kept me from experiencing growth and success. It also made me a pretty codependent person, which led to some issues I wasn't even aware of until my marriage came to a sudden end.

It wasn't until I experienced some very deep personal loss that the game changed for me. I was confronted with the reality that I either had to change myself or I had to give up trying because nothing was going to be like it was. There is no going back to "normal" after heartbreak, especially when it's a relationship. You either heal yourself or you carry the weight of that pain with you for the rest of your days.

Which is why pain can be transformational if you let it. It's like how gold becomes truly valuable. It has to go through the most intense fires to burn off all the junk that's attached to it so that it can become pure. That fire is hot as hell! So is the pain of heartbreak.

It's not easy, don't get me wrong. Healing and becoming whole after you've been broken and experienced loss is hard. But if I can do it, you can do it. This book is about the healing process that I've been on. And the process involves overcoming very deep-seated fears you may be carrying with you from childhood. I had a lot of fears growing up that I talk about in the book, and I talk about the steps I took to overcome them.

I'm not a person who operates out of fear anymore. I've not lived with confidence, inner peace, security, and a love for people like I do now. Everything I share in this book is true because I've lived it. And from the experiences of healing the broken places in myself, I've been able to lead and coach countless people in their personal transformation and wholeness.

I look forward to being able to do much more of that through the funding of this project to deliver these tools and resources to people all over the world.
